The Palm Beach Post warns Floridians that their schoolchildren may be encouraged to read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. (Gasp!) Barbara Nicolosi saw a preview screening of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and gives it a great review here. I’m really looking forward to seeing it myself since I’ve been a Narnia fan for about forty years now.
Fred MacDowell at On the Main Line speculates about Jewish responses and reactions to the Narnia books and movie.
LaShawn Barber asks if the Narnia books can really be considered Christian with all the magical elements.
Hollywood Jesus has a Narnia News Blog to keep you updated on everything Narnia.
I certainly hope the message is there and doesn’t get lost in all the hype. I also hope the film is entertaining and becomes a classic because of its message, its clarity, and its creativity.
