Macintosh Computer Anniversary

On January 25, 1984, Apple Computer released the first Macintosh to replace the Apple II. The new Macintosh sold for $2495.
We have two Macs in this house and two “other” computers. We like the Macs best. They’re more reliable. About 12 years ago our Macintosh looked like this:

  1. BTW, I don’t prefer macs. I may be the only one in the family, but I think PC’s are much easier. They may not be so high tech and formal, but they are MUCH easier to use. IMVHO 🙂

  2. Dear Organizer Daughter, my oldest son went over to the dark side a couple of years ago, after being raised with Macs (my hubby is a Mac developer, and he was at Apple from 1986-1991). Last week my son, a web developer, went back to Macs on a G4, and he can’t believe he ever left. I bet your Macs never got a virus and they hardly EVER crash.

Sherry, books and Macs and lots of children. Kindred spirits indeed! We’ll keep working on the Republican thing ;-).
