“What is a book? Part matter and part spirit; part thing and part thought–however you look at it, it defies definition.”
~Ernest O. Hauser
Welcome to this week’s Saturday Review of Books.
Here’s how it works. Find a review on your blog posted sometime this week of a book you’re reading or a book you’ve read. The review doesn’t have to be a formal sort of thing. You can just write your thoughts on a particular book, a few ideas inspired by reading the book, your evaluation, quotations, whatever.
Now post a link here to the specific post where you’ve written your book review. Don’t link to your main blog page because this kind of link makes it hard to find the book review, especially when people drop in later after you’ve added new content to your blog. In parentheses after your name, add the title of the book you’re reviewing. This addition will help people to find the reviews they’re most interested in reading.

As always, thanks for hosting this. This week’s review for me is The Pillars of the Earth.
This is a really fun feature! (Sorry about reposting our same review… I wrongly put it in last Saturday’s list before realizing there’d be another one for this week.)
Enjoying your blog!

Thanks again for hosting this! This is great!
Thank you for letting us link here!
I love that quote.
Oops, I messed up #87; can you delete it? A memoir, a kids’ book, and a play this week. Good stuff, all.
wow! what an amazing list this week … thanks for hosting this weekly round-up!
Have finally gotten back into writing reviews, now that I’ve forced myself to join NaBloPoMo again this year. Only two this week, hope to add more per week by month’s end.
What a fantastic quote!
Thanks for hosting. This is my first time participating!
