The New Republic by Lionel Shriver. I’ve, well, appreciated the other two novels I’ve read by Ms. Shriver, We Need To Talk About Kevin and So Much for That. This one, about terrorism and journalism on a fictional Portuguese peninsula sounds intriguing. March 27, 2012.

  1. Planning to dive into the new Lynley novel the split second it arrives on your Kindle? (I’m imagining that you’ve pre-ordered it, as I have.) That’s my plan for next week! I did the same thing with Death Comes to Pemberley last month…that one was okay, but not as good as I’d hoped. I’m hoping for better things with this one.

  2. I have the new Lynley novel pre-ordered also. I’m such a fan but have been disappointed in the last few books. Still, I keep coming back for more. Elizabeth George not at her best is still pretty good.
