Over at Buried Teasure blog Carmon and the ladies are discussing women and college. To go or not to go, that is the question. I may add my two cents to the discussion in a post here soon. In the meantime, what do you think? Should young ladies go to college? If so, why? If not, why not?

I definitely want all of my daughters to have an education. But more and more I’ve started to wonder if going off to a university is the best way to get an education. The cost of universities keeps climbing faster than inflation, and yet the quality of education has dropped at a number of universities. We’re still seven or eight years away, but I’m thinking that maybe distance learning will be a good option.
An educated mother can raise an educated generation. My wife and I will continue to help our daughters be educated.
Some should; some shouldn’t. Depends on the young woman’s goals in life, and the options available.
