Eldest Daughter may volunteer at this bookstore, Shakespeare and Company, in Paris for a couple of weeks while she’s on break between semesters. I am officially envious of my own daughter.
I want to open an independent bookstore, sort of a quirky hangout for eccentric types. But no smoking allowed. Do all bibliophiles have daydreams about owning a bookstore?

That’s actually how I decided on the name for my blog–I’ve always wanted my own shop called The Little Bookroom. I suspect, though, that most bibliophiles want their own bookstores from which no one else can buy anything…

The kids and I took the online tour and now D is quite envious of your Eldest Daughter, although she isn’t quite sure that anyone can properly live with as many books as that George does.
