Learning to read . . . we slowly learn to read ourselves. Once we learn how to read, even if then we do not live more wisely, we can at least begin to be aware of why we have not.”

Welcome to this week’s Saturday Review of Books. Here’s how it works. Find a review on your blog posted sometime this week of a book you’re reading or a book you’ve read. The review doesn’t have to be a formal sort of thing. You can just write your thoughts on a particular book, a few ideas inspired by reading the book, your evaluation, quotations, whatever.
Now post a link here to the specific post where you’ve written your book review. Don’t link to your main blog page because this kind of link makes it hard to find the book review, especially when people drop in later after you’ve added new content to your blog. In parentheses after your name, add the title of the book you’re reviewing. This addition will help people to find the reviews they’re most interested in reading.

Thanks!! I have a giveaway this week!
Thanks again for doing this. I have been away for about a month, so I have a lot of reviews now to catch up on! 🙂
Its been a while since I participated. Thanks for doing this.

Love your quote for today. I linked to my post on ‘Diary of a Country Priest’… Not an easy read, but a worthwhile one. Thanks for the opportunity to share my review.
I linked to mini-reviews of four books I’ve read recently.
Hi! I’m new to book blogging, and to this site (a homeschooling friend led me here)… I’ve linked to a review of a great introductory book on Homeschooling that I read this week, “How to Home School” by Gayle Graham.
Finished Austen’s Northanger Abbey last night, just in time to review it and link to it today. It was my second read, and a richer, more enjoyable one than the first.

Sorry, I’m up twice – I forgot to list the books the first time. You would never think I could actually read.
