Here’s a link to last Saturday’s Review, a special edition which has links to over 100 end-of-the-year booklists, lists of books read in 2007, lists of planned reading for 2008, lists of favorites from 2007, lots and lots of lists. Go back and enjoy, and the linky is still open, so you’re welcome to add your own list/post to that one.
This Saturday we’re back to our normal Saturday Review of Books where you, the reader, are invited to post a link to any book reviews you’ve posted at your blog this week. We all want to know what you’ve been reading and what you thought about it.
Here’s how it works. Find a review on your blog posted sometime this week of a book you’re reading or a book you’ve read. The review doesn’t have to be a formal sort of thing. You can just write your thoughts on a particular book, a few ideas inspired by reading the book, your evaluation, quotations, whatever.
Now post a link here to the specific post where you’ve written your book review. Don’t link to your main blog page because this kind of link makes it hard to find the book review, especially when people drop in later after you’ve added new content to your blog. In parentheses after your name, add the title of the book you’re reviewing. This addition will help people to find the reviews they’re most interested in reading.

May 2008 be filled with good books and good discussion of them.
I left my link to a review I just posted. Thanks for hosting this every week!
I reviewed two books this week. Thanks again for hosting this!
Yay! I met my new goal of three book reviews a week. I just learned about your Saturday reviews…thanks for hosting. What a great way to get everyone in the reading community involved! Cheers!
I linked to my review of Wendell Berry’s essay “The Pleasures of Eating.” Looking forward to seeing what others are reading.
I linked to my short comments on Nory Ryan’s Song. I’ll also add my 888 challenge to the lists. Thanks for hosting! I’m enjoying this and have picked up two books already that were reviewed here.

New thoughts on an old favorite book.
Thank you!
I cleared a LOT of books off my TBR pile this week, one of which had been lounging for about ten years. One book of short stories, one choose you own ending book, four graphic novels (all good, I thought. Robot Dreams is especially wonderful, and an all ages, no-words book) plus Christmas Carol. Thanks for hosting each week. It’s a pleasure to see what others are reading.
