I’m late. I’m late. For a very important date. No time to say hello/goodbye, I’m late! I’m late! I’m late!”

Welcome to this week’s Saturday Review of Books. Here’s how it works. Find a review on your blog posted sometime this week of a book you’re reading or a book you’ve read. The review doesn’t have to be a formal sort of thing. You can just write your thoughts on a particular book, a few ideas inspired by reading the book, your evaluation, quotations, whatever.
Now post a link here to the specific post where you’ve written your book review. Don’t link to your main blog page because this kind of link makes it hard to find the book review, especially when people drop in later after you’ve added new content to your blog. In parentheses after your name, add the title of the book you’re reviewing. This addition will help people to find the reviews they’re most interested in reading.

Thanks to everyone for reviewing, blogging, and linking.
Saturday Reviews: Alphabetical by Title. (an unfinished list)
Don’t forget to join in on the Saturday Review of Books Reading Challenge.
I finished another selection for the Saturday Review of Books Challenge, Bridge to Terabithia. I am not sure I’ll make it to the end of this challenge, but I’ll sure try!
I linked to my review of Barbara Kingsolver’s Animal, Vegetable, Miracle.
Oops, sorry. The first time I left out the title of the book I reviewed. I posted again.
I’ve linked up too. thanks!
I feel like an illiterate, it’s been so long since I had a review! What have I been doing? Anyway, I have one today, and two more to write in coming weeks. Ah, that feels better.
You know, my words for confirming a human comment were an odd pair – spiritual and pnompenh.
Sherry–It must be me, but I can’t figure out how to get the permalink to this post without it having a title. –So I can link back here. Do you need to title it? Or…help!
Jeanne
I have read two more this week but have not got around writing reviews.
OK, I’m cheating. I’m listing books that I’ve read for the past couple weeks because I’ve been unable to get to my computer on Saturdays. But they’ve been so good, especially Fun Home and Omnivore’s Dilemma, that I want to give them all the links they deserve. Inconsolable was a good memoir about post-partum depression, something I’ve wrestled with after having my second child. It’s not for everyone–lots of anger. But it’s very funny, and validating for those of us who are so often cranky parents.
Like Steve, I’ve been a slacker reviewer lately. However, I’m really delighted with the book I reviewed. I’ve read it slowly – over the last several months – and looking back at the parts I read a while back was as wonderful as reading them the first time.
Thanks, Sherry, for hosting this.
Sherry, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the Saturday Review. Every Sat. I save this as my last blog post to read so I can settle down and read all the interesting reviews everyone posts. Thanks!
I read a beautiful children’s book The Hundred Dresses by Eleanor Estes. A friend suggested it and i am so glad I read it.
